One of our most exciting projects is just about to begin: The Sixth Floor Trio was invited to design and direct a new music festival at the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden in Miami! We’re calling it GardenMusic – this will become an annual event, and the first GardenMusic Festival is taking place from March 25 to April 1, 2012. We are thrilled about the artists that we’ve lined up, and the programs are designed to be a journey exploring a tremendous range of great music. We’re presenting four subscription programs, short concerts/talks throughout the week, Random Acts of Culture, open rehearsals in the Garden, a kids concert, and many educational activities.
